Royal Tour of Queensferry (Scheduled Tour)

This is the main walking tour through the ancient Royal Burgh of Queensferry beside the Forth Bridge world heritage site.
A mixture of historical sites and tales from Queensferry's colourful past, including our World Famous Bridges, ancient rituals, war time firsts, royal visitors and witchcraft! Perfect for the whole family! Perfect for sightseeing!

The tour includes a visit into the Queensferry Museum and ends in the garden of the 15th Century Priory, which is the oldest medieval Carmelite Church still in operation in the UK.

The walk includes some stairs and at times uneven pavements, which may not be suitable for those with wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.

To avoid disappointment we advise you book in advance or check availability.

Cruise Liner - Extra Tour Dates: We operate extra tours including an earlier 10:30 tour on the dates cruise liners visit Queensferry. 10:30 & 14:15 Tours – May 17th, 26th, 29th / June 10th, 22nd / July 1st, 4th, 16th, 28th / August 9th, 17th, 21st / September 2nd

Private Tours

For those of you who would prefer a more exclusive visitor experience or would like a tour outside of our regular scheduled times, then a Private Tour is for you!

Tours are available April to October excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

A private tour minimum is £44 for up to 4 people then £11 per Adult, £9 concession and £6 per child thereafter.

Tour groups tend to be a maximum of 25 however larger groups can be catered for. Please email your tour requirements to
