The Royal Tour (Scheduled Tour)

This is the Royal Tour of Queensferry which includes entry into the 15th Century Priory. A mixture of historical sites and tales from Queensferry's colourful past, including our famous Bridges, ancient rituals, war time firsts, royal visitors and witchcraft! Perfect for the whole family! Perfect for sightseeing!

The tour includes a visit into the Queensferry Museum and an exclusive visit to the 15th Century Priory which predates Roslyn Chapel and is the oldest medieval Carmelite Church still in operation in the UK today. This tour ends within The Priory with a well-deserved refreshing drink and a toast to what has come before.

Tales from "Doon the Ferry" (Scheduled Tour)

Similar to The Royal Tour but does not include entry into The Priory. You begin your journey in the magnificent shadow of what some call the 8th wonder of the modern world, the fairy tale of science and engineering that is our world famous Forth Bridge. This tour is packed with historical sites and tales from Queensferry's colourful past which includes a visit into the Queensferry Museum. Perfect for the whole family! Perfect for sightseeing!

Tale of 3 Bridges (Pre-book evening tour)

Your guide will lead you through the old Royal Burgh town that is a hidden gem in Scotland's history and is wedged between our 3 magnificent Bridges, from 3 different centuries. They will inform and entertain you with tales of our famous Bridges, royal saints, ambitious Lords, ghostly sightings and witchcraft! A perfect tour for an evening out "doon the Ferry"!

We operate extra tours on the days that cruise liners visit Queensferry. All tours are situated next to where the tenders drop off cruise liner passengers and where the excursion coaches leave from. This makes it easy after a walking tour to get back to the ship or board a coach for an afternoon excursion.

In the year we celebrate 125 years of our mighty Forth Bridge, Queensferry Tours have partnered up with one of the finest mini eateries in Queensferry, The Jitter Bean to create a walking tour and dinner experience.

Your guide will lead you through the old Royal Burgh informing and entertaining you with tales from a hidden gem in Scotland's history in the shadow of the world famous Forth Bridge. The tour ends with a relaxing 3 course dinner as the sun sets over the Forth.
